Dish of the Day: Journey- Corrinne May

it's a long, long journey
till i find my way home to you.

corrinne may is having a concert at esplanade!!!
i wanna go! somebody buy me an entry.
oh by the way,
i went to the jeremy monteiro concert!!!
he was featuring all those really good jazz players from chicago. they were absolutely FABULOUS. muy bien!
there's this really tall guy who plays both piano and harmonica, and when he played Amazing Grace on harmonica, it was like, WOW. it was as if 3 other harmonicas were playing simultaneously and there was a whole chorus of instruments behind him, but it was really just his solo performance.
the concert ended with a standing ovation!!!
so grateful to selene for the free ticket. we went together and cheered at the end. they so deserve it la! everyone should go adore them.
oh, and i didnt know jeremy monteiro could sing! he sang and played Blame It On My Youth, accompanied by this really short and adorable old man on the cello. that won me over. :D
i heard from kristy that jeremy monteiro's son is really hot.
;)
she was there with her family. U ALL ARE MISSING OUT ON GOOD STUFF.
i bet JJ will be sooooo jealous of the guitarists there. monteiro even featured a local guitarist and drummer, who were both really talented.
unbelievable huh?
i'm gushing over the concert like its aerosmith. but still. it was GREAT. but jay chou's still my hero. :)
